Amylee Amos MS, RDN founded the Amos Institute to specialize in the implementation of the Bredesen Protocol. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nutrition, Healthspan, & Longevity from the University of Southern California's Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. She has trained under Dr. Dale Bredesen and received certification in the Bredesen Protocol from MPI Cognition. Amylee is part of Dale Bredesen's elite immersion team and has worked in partnership with MPI Cognition performing week long retreats for participants of the Bredesen Protocol. She has contracted with the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy through the Institute of Functional Medicine to create a health coaching program that specializes in coaching and counseling patients on the Bredesen Protocol. Amylee works in corporate wellness, contracting with corporations large and small that wish to educate their employees on optimizing cognition and enhancing wellness using the research of the Bredesen Protocol. Amylee is a guest lecturer at the University of Southern California. When Amylee first learned of the groundbreaking research of Dr. Dale Bredesen she knew she would spend her career putting an end to the suffering and the loss caused by Alzheimer’s. In addition to her education and work at USC, Amylee has trained at the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center through Keck Hospital at USC, at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and under world renowned biogerontologist and cell biologist Dr. Valter Longo at the University of Genoa, Italy. She is currently taking the Advanced Practice Modules for the Institute of Functional Medicine Certification, a new high level achievement for leading medical providers. For Amylee the devastation of Alzheimer’s disease is very personal. For twelve long years, Amylee witnessed the immense suffering of her Nana, Amy Lee, the grandmother after whom she is named, as she battled this devastating disease. This disease not only took the life of her beloved Nana, but also took a large emotional and financial toll on her entire family.
